FIRST ALERT: Major roads reopening

Several roads remain closed on Thursday morning, Jan. 23, due to icy conditions.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Portions of several major interstates and two major bridges over the Mississippi River remained closed due to icy conditions on Friday.

INTERSTATES

INTERSTATE 12: OPEN

INTERSTATE 10: OPEN

INTERSTATE 110: OPEN in both directions through Baton Rouge.

BRIDGES

NEW BRIDGE (HORACE WILKINSON) – OPEN. I-10 bridge from Baton Rouge to Port Allen.

OLD BRIDGE (HUEY P. LONG): OPEN. This is on Highway 190.

JOHN JAMES AUDUBON: OPEN. This bridge crosses between Pointe Coupee and West Feliciana parishes.

SUNSHINE BRIDGE: OPEN. This bridge crosses the Mississippi River in St. James Parish.
