‘I’ll never be the same’: Wife mourning death of husband, father of 7, including quadruplets
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV/Gray News) - A Charlotte father of seven died over the weekend, leaving a sudden void in the family.
According to Carlos Abrahams’ wife, Ronjera, her husband died over the weekend. She shared the news in an emotional social media post.
“To my forever love, my best friend, my husband, words cannot describe the pain that I feel,” her message read. “I’ll never be the same.”
Ronjera Abrahams did not go into details about her husband’s death, only saying that he died last Saturday.
The couple was in the news previously when the family welcomed home their quadruplets in 2025 after spending more than a month in the neonatal intensive care unit.
The couple and their three other children, all boys, welcomed quadruplets, Ariayah, Aniyah, Cayden, and Carter, on Dec. 2, 2024.
Carlos Abrahams owned a Jamaican restaurant and food truck in Charlotte, Crav’N Caribbean.
“God, please just strengthen me even more as I try to navigate life without the man that I’ve been with for 16 years while raising our children,” Ronjera Abrahams shared.
The couple had documented their growing family’s journey on social media over the years, gaining hundreds of thousands of followers.
Ronjera Abrahams has received an outpouring of support online after sharing the tragic update about her husband’s death.
“I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your husband. I’m so sorry. Please accept my condolences,” one of the comments read. “May the Lord comfort you and your family and flood your heart with his peace.”
