Sportsline Summer Camp: The St. James Wildcats

ST. JAMES PARISH, La. (WAFB) - St. James came up one point and twenty seconds shy of a state title last season.

The Wildcats fell to Union Parish 36-35 in the closing moments of the contest.

Lavanta Davis and company have to replace several key leaders who have moved on and graduated. Chief among the losses are Sportsline Player of the Year Finalist Brayden Williams and Southern Jags wide receiver Kobe Brown.

The Wildcats hope to build the offensive and defensive lines first and then reload from there at quarterback and the skill positions.
