‘The Wall That Heals’ brings community together
BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - ‘The Wall That Heals’ is ready to bring the community together by remembering all 58,281 men and women who lost their lives in battle during the Vietnam War.
This traveling exhibit will be set up at Life Tabernacle Church in Baton Rouge from March 20 to March 23. It will be open to the public 24 hours a day during these three days.
The three-quarter scale wall replica is 375 feet long and stands 7.5 feet high at its tallest point.
The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund is responsible for helping bring ‘The Wall That Heals’ to Baton Rouge, to allow local veterans and their family members a chance to experience the wall while continuing the conversations about the impact of the Vietnam War on America.
