Canine Unit National Trials happening in Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The United States Police Canine Association 2024 National Trials are taking place this week in the capital city.
Officers and dogs from different parts of the country will participate to keep the dogs in rhythm with their year-round training. The training began Monday and will carry on throughout the rest of the week.
If interested in watching, the public is invited to attend BRPD’s ‘Night Out Against Crime’ on Thursday night, Oct. 10, at the Alex Box Stadium.
