Sportsline Summer Camp: The Prairieville Hurricanes

PRAIRIEVILLE, La. (WAFB) - Prairieville High celebrating its first day of school and operation this year, but the football team has been established and practicing all summer long getting set for its debut season.

The hurricanes certainly aren’t dipping their toes in the water if you will. It’s a full cannonball for long-time head coach Mike Schmitt and company as Prairieville will play 5A ball this fall.

While that’s a daunting challenge the Canes are excited to attack it.
