ST. TAMMANY PARISH, LA (WAFB) - The search for a missing couple will resume at daybreak Tuesday, making it the seventh day boats have been on a Louisiana river looking for the husband and wife.
Searchers found a rifle along the Bogue Chitto River on Monday that belongs to Alan and Dianne Holloway of Baton Rouge.
The water levels on the river in St. Tammany Parish have dropped, but officials report the current is still very strong.
The couple's capsized boat was found early last week near the dam on the river.
Their campsite was still set up.
