Man accused in deadly boat crash set for hearing

NEW ROADS, LA (WAFB) - The man accused of killing three men in a boating crash over two years ago is scheduled to be in court for a hearing Monday morning.
Jerry Jordan of Lafayette is set to appear in a New Roads courtroom related to the deadly boating accident on False River in May 2009.
Chris Austin, Brian Doherty and Sterling Forbes were killed when their boat was hit by another boat driven by Jordan.
The victims were from Baton Rouge.
Back in April, a judge ruled Jordan's blood samples were admissible in court.
It was made after Jordan's attorney tried to say the blood samples taken from his client that night were tainted because the vials had expired.
