Truck hauling life-sized dinosaurs crashes on highway after storm

CLAYCOMO, Mo. (KCTV/Gray News) - An overnight crash on a Missouri highway involved some frightening passengers.
Officers from the Pleasant Valley and Claycomo Police Departments responded to the crash on Interstate 35 at the Interstate 435 split at around 2:20 a.m. Wednesday.
The officers were likely shocked at what greeted them.
Police said the crash involved a driver of a white box truck and flatbed trailer carrying dinosaur statues.
Investigators said the tires on the vehicle were worn and the highway was wet because of a storm that moved through the region.
The Claycomo Police Department said they believe the driver was traveling too fast for the conditions of the wet highway and lost control.
The truck slid off the highway, blocking a lane of traffic until crews arrived and moved the trailer out of the road.
