Something that took many by surprise was a partnership between Governor-elect Landry’s office and the New Orleans district attorney.
It’s called Commons. It’s a web system created by the non-profit Measures of Justice along with the East Baton Rouge District Attorney’s Office.
You might have noticed that University Lakes don’t look like they normally should, and all that dirt is causing some problems for the lake’s projects.
The project consisted of realigning the roadway to create a safer intersection at Nicholson Drive, closing the existing railroad crossing, and opening a new one with railroad crossing arms.
