BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The Deborah Jeane Palfrey case echoes what happened in the Capital City.

The so-called "Baton Rouge Madam" committed suicide as well.

Sylvia Landry was found guilty on federal prostitution charges in July of 1995 and sentenced to six years in prison.

At the time, Landry boasted that she'd be back in the prostitution business as soon as she got out of jail.

Landry didn't complete her sentence, though.

Her body was found hanged in her cell.
