SILVER ALERT: Elderly man last seen in Baton Rouge on Sunday

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Louisiana State Police has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Baton Rouge man.

Officials with LSP are asking for the public's help finding Albert Terito, 71, who was reported missing to the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office on Monday, August 13. He was last seen on Sunday at noon near East Ardenwood Drive in Baton Rouge.

Terito is described as a white male with gray hair and blue eyes, 5' 7" tall, weighing about 250 lbs. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, black loafers, and a t-shirt or pullover shirt. He is traveling in a silver 2012 Lincoln MKZ with license plate number WBL 713.

Family members say Terito was incoherent when he last spoke with them around 9 a.m. Monday. The number he was calling from was listed as Love's Truck Stop near Beaumont, Texas.

Family members also say Terito suffers from several medical condition requiring daily medication. They say he left home without any of his medications and that his judgement may be impaired because of it.
