Extras wanted for prohibition party scene in Al Capone movie filming in New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS (WAFB) - Central Casting Louisiana is looking to cast extras for a prohibition party scene filming in New Orleans on May 15.

The scene will be in the upcoming movie 'Fonzo' about Al Capone, who will be played by Tom Hardy.

In a Facebook post, the company describes the movie scene as a "raucous party full of dancing and fun with Al Capone."

Casting directors are looking for both men and women of various ages to fill a variety of roles for the scene including party guests, escorts, serves, and dandy. All extras must be at least 18 or older.

Extras will be required to attend a fitting on May 7, May 8, or May 9 in Metairie, LA.

Those who are cast as extras will be compensated $94 for 12 hours of work, plus $23.50 for the fitting, and $15 for a hair bump.

Casting directors say unnatural hair color, modern haircuts, modern piercings, visible tattoos on hands, face and necks will not be considered! Men with full beards will be required to shave.
