St. Joseph's Academy cheerleaders win National High School Cheerleading Championship

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Congratulations to the St. Joseph's Academy cheerleaders for winning the National High School Cheerleading Championship on Sunday.
The competition was held at Disney's Wide World of Sports in Orlando. The Redstickers walked away with the Super Varsity Division II title.
The cheerleading team placed first in all three routines performed.
Live Oak Junior High School cheerleaders placed second in the nation in the Large Junior High Division. The team won the 2018 Medium Varsity Division I Championship for routine.
Central High School won the 2018 Large Varsity Non Tumbling National Gameday Championship.
Great job by all of these teams.
