See the Coca-Cola Santa Truck and help the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank
This August a historical flood devastated our area. One of the thousands impacted by the flood was the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank. During the flood, they received four feet of water throughout their 170,000 square-foot facility. Although they have since been able to return to that facility they still have a long way to go. Having lost everything including computers, office furniture, warehouse equipment, vehicles and over 575,000 pounds of purchased and donated food, they need your help.
Now through the end of the year, Baton Rouge Coca-Cola is partnering with the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, Associated Grocers and WAFB-TV in an effort to collect food and cash for the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank.
Red Coca-Cola pre-packaged bags filled with non-perishable holiday food items will be available to purchase for only $10.00 at participating AG Food Stores. These bags will be picked up from the stores by Food Bank volunteers and used this holiday season to feed those who are in need. Stop by one of the AG Food Stores while the Coca-Cola Santa Truck is there for your chance to take a photo with the truck and Santa Claus himself.
