Guice, Fournette lead LSU to 38-10 win over Arkansas in Battle for the Boot

FAYETTEVILLE, AR (WAFB) - No. 24 LSU bounced back from its loss to Alabama with a 38-10 victory against No. 25 Arkansas to win the Battle for the Boot.

Derrius Guice has 252 yards on 21 carries and two touchdowns, including a 96-yard touchdown run which is the longest rush in school history.

Leonard Fournette had 98 yards on 17 carries with three touchdowns as he ties Charles Alexander for third all-time career rushing touchdowns with 40.

LSU quarterback Danny Etling is 10 of 16 for 157 yards as the LSU offense had 547 total yards.

Arkansas quarterback Austin Allen was 15 of 31 for 210 yards, including a touchdown and two interceptions, as the Razorbacks had just shy of 300 yards of total offense.


Arkansas is 6-4 overall this year, with a 2-4 conference record.

LSU (6-3, 4-2) will host Florida on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 12 p.m. for Senior Day. The game was rescheduled after being originally postponed in October because of Hurricane Matthew.

LSU's Fournette rushed for a 3-yard touchdown. (LSU 28, ARK 10 - 6:59 3rd Qtr)

LSU kicker Colby Delahoussaye hit a 19-yard field goal. (LSU 31, ARK 10 - 7:51 4th Qtr)

Tigers' Guice rushed 96 yards for a touchdown. (LSU 38, ARK 10 - 6:59 4th Qtr)
