Louisiana Governor's Mansion flooded
BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The basement of the Louisiana Governor's Mansion in Baton Rouge has flooded.
The governor's family was relocated to another place to live until the situation is resolved, officials said.
Gov. John Bel Edwards was in Colorado for a Governor's Association meeting Friday and returned to Louisiana after being advised of the flooding situation in the state.
Edwards, who has declared a state of emergency for Louisiana, has scheduled a news conference for 10:30 a.m. Saturday to discuss the flooding situation in multiple parishes.
