ST. FRANCISVILLE, LA (WAFB) - Students in West Feliciana and Assumption parishes headed back to school Tuesday morning.
Buses rolled in at Bains Lower Elementary School for students in pre-k through first grade to get back to it.
Bains Lower is now a Louisiana A+ school, which means the George Rodrigue Foundation has been working with teachers there to better integrate the arts into the curriculum.
"The George Rodrigue Foundation in partnership with us has been bringing training to our teachers so that we infuse arts into all of our classrooms," Supt. Hollis Milton said. "It is the best training that I've ever witnessed. It is amazing how much work they do and it's A to Z training. It's teaching teachers classroom management so that they can inspire their students."
WAFB would like to thank everyone who joined us at Bains Lower Elementary for 9News This Morning.
