BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The family of Nick Tullier says there has been no change in his condition, which was explained as "not a bad thing."

His father posted a message on social media saying the deputy wounded in the ambush attack on law enforcement officers is "no better but no worse." He also stated Tullier has not undergone another surgery since last week.

Read the full message and keep up with updates on the deputy's condition on the community Facebook page "Nick Tullier Strong."

Tullier, 41, has remained in critical condition at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital since getting shot when he responded to a call of shots fired at the B-Quik gas station on Airline Highway on July 17.
