Police investigate shooting at a Baton Rouge hotel

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Police are investigating a shooting that happened inside a Baton Rouge hotel.
Officials responded to a shooting in 11100 block of Boardwalk Drive off of Sherwood Forest. Investigators said some was shot inside a room at the hotel before running to the office lobby for assistance.
The victim sustained serious but non life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital.
Police are still working to determine the motive and suspect in this shooting.
