Baton Rouge Police investigating overnight shooting on E. Polk

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a shooting on East Polk Street that left one person injured.
Police say the shooting happened around 12:30 a.m. in the 600 block of E. Polk St.
According to investigators, one person was injured in the shooting. That person was taken to a local hospital where their injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
The investigation into this shooting is ongoing.
