BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - WATCH HERE on mobile devices.

WAFB Channel 9's very own Donna Britt, Lauren Westbrook and Jay Grymes will emcee the events this year and will lead the #TeamWAFB.

The Baton Rouge Affiliate of Susan G. Komen is dedicated to fighting breast cancer at every front. Up to 75 percent of the Affiliate's net income goes toward funding grants to Baton Rouge local hospitals and community organizations that provide breast health education and breast cancer screening and treatment programs for medically underserved women. The remaining net income (a minimum of 25 percent) supports the national Komen Grants Program, which funds groundbreaking breast cancer research, meritorious awards and educational and scientific programs around the world. The Komen Race for the Cure is a unique event, designed and implemented to promote positive awareness, education and early detection of breast cancer.

The Baton Rouge Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure services the following Parishes: Ascension, East Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, West Feliciana, Iberville, Livingston, Pointe Coupee, St Helena and Tangipahoa.

The race this year will be located at the LSU Old Front Nine.

Race Day Schedule

6:00 a.m. - 9:15 a.m. Race-Day Registraiton and Packet Pick-Up

7:00 a.m. Venue opens / Survivor Breakfast

8:00 a.m. Survivor Parade and Celebration

8:45 a.m. 10K Start

8:50 a.m.  1-Mile Fun Run (Start line window closes at 9:00 a.m.)

9:15 a.m. 5K Start for Timed Runners

9:20 a.m. 5K Start for Untimed Runners/Walkers

10:30 a.m. Celebration / Live Band / Awards
