2 parades roll back to back through Houma on Mardi Gras

Mardi Gras 2016: Houma

HOUMA, LA (WAFB) - Revelers in Houma were treated to two Mardi Gras parades, including one krewe that celebrated its the 70th year with its 300 members.

The Krewe of Houmas rolled at 11 a.m. and was followed by the Krewe of Kajuns right behind it.

The Krewe of Houmas is a family-friendly parade and is actually the oldest parade in Terrebonne Parish. Families who had been out since about 8:30 a.m. complete with grills and just about everything else you could ask for.
