Today is Wesley Dale Morgan's sixth birthday. Normally, that would be something to celebrate... but no one knows where little Wesley is or what's happened to him.  Morgan disappeared almost four years ago from the area known as Bluff Creek in East Feliciana Parish.

Unfortunately, detectives have no new leads in the case.  Wesley Dale Morgan disappeared the morning of May 15th, 2001. He was only two years old at the time. Immediately East Feliciana Sheriff Talmadge Bunch organized search teams to travel on horseback, ATV, and by air to cover every inch of the parish. After more than a week of searching, they found nothing.

Morgan's mother, Ruby Havard, told detectives she last saw Morgan playing with puppies on her front porch.  Morgan's paternal aunt, Mary Dufour, recently told 9 News that she prays one day this little boy will come home.

She said, "I feel like he's still alive and I hope wherever he is, they're taking care of him.... they're not mistreating him or abusing him."

If you have any information about Wesley Dale Morgan, or perhaps a child who looks like him but has a different name, you're asked to call either the East Feliciana Parish Sheriff's department at 225-683-3313, or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-THE-LOST.
