BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The man accused of hiring three men to kill his ex-wife has made a change in representation.

According to the District Attorney, Hamid Ghassemi has gotten a new lawyer.

Ghassemi and three other men were arrested in May in the murder case of Ghassemi's ex-wife Taherah Ghassemi.

Taherah was reported missing on April 11. The next day, her vehicle was found on fire.

Investigators found Taherah's body buried in a wooded area in St. Helena Parish on May 16. The coroner reported that she died from a gunshot wound to the head.

Ghassemi faces charges of solicitation for murder, principal to first-degree murder, principal to second-degree kidnapping and principal to arson.
