Audit: Iberville Parish assessor may have violated state law

IBERVILLE PARISH, LA (WAFB) - A strongly worded report was released Monday by the Legislative auditor regarding the Iberville Parish assessor.
The audit said Assessor John "Randy" Sexton may have violated state laws with his purchase and use of two pickup trucks.
Sexton reportedly bought the trucks, but did not follow procedure with the use of them from 2009 to 2014.
The report said if Sexton is found at fault, he could be fined up to $50 a day for that five-year period.
