WALKER, LA (WAFB) - A social media safety clinic will be held for parents and children looking to understand many of the complications and dangers of the newest technologies.
The Livingston Parish School system will host a workshop on April 23 at 6 p.m. at the Literacy and Technology Center on 9261 Florida Blvd. in Walker. It will cover many issues that parents and students alike worry about. From texting lingo and privacy settings, to cyber bullying and online predators, this seminar aims to help parents make the most of new technologies.
