VIDEO: LSU fan goes 'sneaux swimming' in Boston

BOSTON, MA (WAFB) - What do LSU fans do in 45 inches of snow? Sneaux swimming, of course! This YouTube video shows that LSU fans can have fun anywhere.

The man in the video was once on the LSU swim team. His name is Julius Gloeckner, and he is originally from Freiburg, Germany. He was a senior at LSU in 2009. His fiance Emily Weil posted the video on YouTube.

If you're thinking he has really good form, he does! His bio on lsusports.net said he left LSU as the most decorated swimmer in recent program history.

"His four individual school records (200 freestyle, 200 IM, 400 IM and 200 butterfly) are more than any other swimmer ... Also part of two relay records during his time as a Tiger ... Earned six All-America accolades during his career, including First-team honors in the 400-yard individual medley as a sophomore ... Also claimed the third-place medal in that race at the 2007 SEC Championships ... Voted the 2009 SEC Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year by the SEC coaches for his outstanding accomplishments, both in the pool and in the classroom ... Held the team's fastest times in an astounding six races as both a freshman and sophomore ... Led the Tigers in five events as a junior and four as a senior ... Recipient of the program's Most Outstanding Swimmer Award in 2007 ... Received SEC Academic Honor Roll recognition in every year of his career.

"During his senior year, he wrapped up his phenomenal career with six additional school-record times and three more All-America honors ... Also named the 2009 SEC Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year by the league office."

Every downside bears an opportunity! And that's where to focus on. Boston had a record month of snow with 45 inches in just the first two weeks of February, driven my multiple back to back blizzards. While public transit is not working, the roads are not cleared, parking is battle at every location, and being outside simply becomes a pain, it gets increasingly difficult to look at the glass being half full rather than half empty. However, you can find passion and fun wherever you are, even in blizzard conditions without appropriate clothing...
