Baton Rouge police asking for help solving early morning murder

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Police are asking the public for help in solving the Sunday morning murder of a 19-year-old.
Police say that Calvin Smith, 19, was shot multiple times overnight and found in the parking lot of Carlin's Food-Mart on the corner of Plank Road and Brady Street around 1:15 a.m.
According to reports, Smith was taken to a local hospital where he later died.
Police do not have any details on a suspect yet, but if you know anything that could help police in this case, you are urged to call Crime Stoppers at 344-STOP.
