Victim identified in fatal Saturday night shooting

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead Saturday night.
The Baton Rouge Police Department reported the shooting happened on Plank Road at Jefferson Avenue just after 9 p.m.
The victim has been identified as 24-yr-old Jeremy Costley. Investigators say he was found lying on the sidewalk with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the stomach. He was taken to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Police have not yet identified a suspect.
