GREENSBERG, LA (WAFB) - A man accused of the murder of his wife and the arson of their home has been found dead of a suspected suicide, according to the Louisiana State Fire Marshal.

Officials reported Adren Allen, 48, of Greensburg, was found dead just before noon Friday inside a vehicle in a rural area of East Feliciana Parish near the St. Helena Parish line.

The St. Helena Parish Sheriff's Office said Adren was a suspect in the October 11 murder of his wife, Marsha Allen, 39, and the subsequent intentionally set fire of their home in Greensburg.

Adren Allen was nowhere to be found as investigators turned their focus on him during the murder investigation. Fire marshals said they received information Adren was hiding at a camp in a rural area along the Amite River.

Officers who found the body said the vehicle was registered to his dead wife.
