Deputies search for pair accused of spending $1,300 at dollar stores with cloned card

LIVINGSTON PARISH, LA (WAFB) - Authorities are trying to track down a man and woman they said used a cloned credit card to spend more than $1,000 at dollar stores.

The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office reported surveillance footage shows the pair used the card at Dollar General stores in Holden and Denham Springs on Saturday.

Deputies said the purchases using the cloned card were made at the Dollar General on US 190 in Holden and the one on Walker South Road in Denham Springs between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

They added the card was used to buy $1,300.55 in Visa prepaid gift cards.

Anyone with information about the man and woman is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 344-7867.
