BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Deputies with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office have added a charge of forcible rape to the list of charges against the founder of Red Jacket Firearms, 49-year-old William Hayden. The new charge is for the alleged rape of a 12-year-old female that happened about 22 years ago in East Baton Rouge Parish.

Deputies with EBRSO say the victim came forward after Hayden's publicized arrest and said it happened 22-years ago when she stayed with Hayden and his family at an apartment on Cedarcrest Avenue.

EBRSO Detectives arrested Hayden on August 8th for molestation of a juvenile and aggravated crimes against nature for alleged sexual behavior with another 12-year-old juvenile that allegedly occurred on August 4, 2014. He bonded out the following day on $150,000 bond.

Detectives rebooked Hayden on August 26 for aggravated rape of the same juvenile; and he is still being held on the $250,000 bond. Additional bonding information is not yet available for the added charge of forcible rape.

William Hayden and his shop have been the focus of the reality TV show "Sons of Guns" that aired on the Discovery Channel.

The Discovery Channel has announced the "Sons of Guns" series has been canceled after the founder of Red Jacket Firearms William Hayden was charged with aggravated rape of a 12-year-old.

The CEO of Red Jacket Firearms says Hayden agreed to separate himself from the company after his first arrest.
