LIVINGSTON PARISH, LA (WAFB) - Parents in Livingston Parish admit to being high when they left their six-month old daughter in a hot car in a Walmart parking lot.
Walker Police arrested Billy and Lana Henry in June.
The couple pleaded guilty Monday to child cruelty and drug charges.
The judge sentenced Billy Henry to four years in jail, while Lana received a seven-year suspended sentence meaning she won't serve any time.
The judge said he hopes Lana will get her life in order and be the mother her children deserve.
