BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A federal judge is scheduled to hear arguments Monday into the methods used to execute those sentenced to death in Louisiana.

The case centers on Christopher Sepulvado, who was convicted of killing his stepson in 1992.

Earlier this year, a judge issued a stay of execution after officials made changes to the drugs used in lethal injections.

This week's injunction is to decide if the protocol and drugs are proper for death penalty cases.
