Investigators say persons of interest now wanted as suspects in double murder
BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Authorities reported a man and woman, originally named as persons of interest in the double murder of an Ethel couple, have now been identified as murder suspects.
Louisiana State Police said Armando Reyes Diaz, 31, and Dulce Maria Funez, 34, are wanted for the murders of Eddy Earl Hall and Connie Hall.
Lt. JB Slaton with LSP said Diaz and Funez are both wanted on two counts of first-degree murder. He added the suspects may have a 10-year-old boy with them.
Troopers previously reported the suspects may be traveling in a white 2009 Nissan Versa with Louisiana license plate: WMH918. They also said the car has dark tinted windows, black wheels and a small white sticker on the lower left back windshield.
Eddy Earl Hall, 53, and his wife, Connie, 51, were found dead inside their home in Ethel on April 27. Up to this point, detectives have not released many details about what happened.

Loved ones said Eddy was a well-known painter and owned his own painting business, while Connie was a homemaker and cleaned homes on a part-time basis.
Louisiana State Police and Homeland Security Investigations are assisting the East Feliciana Parish Sheriff's Office with the investigation.
