Police searching for Chicken Shack armed robbers

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Baton Rouge Police are searching for two men they say robbed a mid-city restaurant just before 11 p.m. Tuesday.

Investigators say the two men went into the Chicken Shack on North Acadian through and employee entrance.

The two men then allegedly pulled guns on the workers as they were cleaning and demanded money.

Police say the suspects grabbed the cash and ran out.

No injuries were reported in the robbery.

The first suspect is described as a black male, heavy build around 18-20 years of age, 5'8"- 5'10" wearing a light color bandana with a latex glove on his right hand.  The suspect also was wearing a blue McKinley High pullover with gray pants.

The second suspect is described as a black male, medium build around 18-20 years of age, 5'5"- 5'7" wearing a black hooded sweat shirt with dark pants and a dark bandana concealing his face.
