BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Senate lawmakers are having a change of heart when it comes to drones.

One day after rejecting the bill, the Louisiana Senate approved SB 330 by Sen. Dan Claitor, R-Baton Rouge, which would make it illegal to use the unmanned aircraft to take pictures of people on private property without their permission.

It includes exceptions, like law enforcement.

Some Senate members initially voted it down because they believed drones could help to survey coastal land loss.

The measure now heads to the House.
