DENHAM SPRINGS, LA (WAFB) - The Livingston Parish Sheriff's office Narcotics Division has arrested two brothers for possession of synthetic marijuana.
The brothers are Gerald Fisher and John Fisher of Denham Springs.
"Both brothers have admitted to the manufacturing of Synthetic Marijuana," says Sheriff Jason Ard. "This is one of the reasons I beefed up the Narcotics Division – to stop this type of activity from spreading. I want Livingston Parish to be a safe place for my children - and your children. My Narcotics Team works 24/7 to know what's happening in the parish, who the players are and what we're up against. I believe they are the best at what they do.'
Johnathan Debacco was also at the residence at the time of the search. Debacco was issued a summons for drug paraphernalia.
Detectives searched the brother's home and found a Leafy substance used as a substitute for the marijuana plant leaf, one ounce of high-grade marijuana, two ounces of processed Synthetic Marijuana, a small quantity of Meth, five Morphine pills, and 15 firearms.
The brothers are in the Livingston Parish Detention Center.
