Police: 16-year-old shot multiple times in broad daylight, victim identified

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner says one person died in a shooting that happened around 11:30 a.m. in the 1100 block of St. Joseph Street in the Old South Baton Rouge neighborhood.

Officials say the victim is 16-years-old and he was shot multiple times. He has been identified by police as Patrick Williams.

Police say they were called to the house on St. Joseph Street and found Williams inside.

Officials with the Baton Rouge Police Department say the case is being worked as a homicide.

Police say there are no suspects or motives at this time.
