HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana men's basketball team, on the road to open the 2013-14 season, will face the Missouri Tigers, Nov. 8, in its first game of the season.

It marks the first meeting on the hardwood between the two schools and will be the third-consecutive season opener away from home for coach Jim Yarbrough's squad. The Lions opened at Tulsa in 2011-12 and at Wisconsin last season.

Southeastern returns seven players off last season's team that went 13-18 overall (10-8 Southland ) and knocked off McNeese State in the first round of the Southland Conference Tournament.

Missouri (23-11 in 2012-13) enters the game against the Lions with an 18-game home winning streak, the fourth-longest active home-court streak in the nation.
