Crews work to stop natural gas leak in Gulf of Mexico

GULF OF MEXICO (WAFB) - Troubles continue in the Gulf of Mexico, as crews work to stop a natural gas spill.

The leak is expected to be plugged Thursday.

Officials flew over it Wednesday. They said natural gas and some oil is still spewing from a well owned by Talo Energy out of Houston.

A company spokesman said the leak started as crews were trying to permanently plug the well.
