Tigers survive Huskies’ seventh inning rally

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Aaron Nola pitched six perfect innings, and LSU (13-1) overcame a four-run seventh inning rally by the Washington Huskies to win Friday night's first game of the weekend series 9-4 at Alex Box Stadium.
Chris Cotton pitched out of a bases-loaded jam in the ninth to pick up his fourth save of the season.
Christian Ibarra had three RBI and the Tigers banged out 13 hits to win their seventh straight game over Washington (4-9).
The Huskies will face Ryan Eades Saturday night at 6:30 in game two of the series.
