BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A standing room only crowd greeted LSU Head Football Coach Les Miles at T.J. Ribs Wednesday night and once the radio show began, the message was crystal clear.

"Do me a favor and go out there and kick their butts," said one caller.

A routine appearance on the radio for Coach Miles and LSU but fans in attendance believing something is different this time around.

"I think he's got a quiet confidence to him so far. He's got something planned," said Mike Bernard.

"He sounds like Les miles, he's ready," added Abl Haselden.

A nation of Tiger fans going well beyond the 92,000 that will pack Tiger Stadium Saturday night is optimistic that LSU can once again knock off a top-ranked Alabama team.

"They're coming into death valley. Anyone can win or lose in Death Valley," said Haselden. "LSU can play up and down to anybody in SEC. Anybody can win or lose on any given Saturday and don't think Alabama can't be beat, they can be beat."

Confidence that for some fans is still coupled with animosity for the leader of the Tide Nick Saban and many hoped the Tigers might provide their former coach with his own horror story.

"In the words of Freddy Krueger, welcome to hell," said a fan at the microphone.

"When he plays at home he plays a different ball game than he does on the road so don't be surprised if we see some wrinkles," said Marvin Dugas. "I think we have some things for little Nicky, it's his birthday so we are going to give him a present."
