Assumption bills Texas Brine for sinkhole costs

BAYOU CORNE, LA (WAFB) - Assumption Parish officials want Texas Brine to foot the bill for costs associated with the sinkhole.
Parish officials sent the company bills totaling $321,000.
Most of the amount comes from manpower from the sheriff's office and parish police jury since August 3rd.
Texas Brine owns a failed salt cavern blamed for the cause of the now-nearly three-month long headache in Bayou Corne.
