NEW ORLEANS, LA (WAFB) - Police in New Orleans are investigating a violent and deadly end to Halloween festivities.
WWL-TV in New Orleans reported four separate shootings left two people dead and 13 others wounded.
The first happened just after midnight on Bourbon Street.
A 25-year-old man died and seven others were hit by bullets when gunfire erupted.
According to the Times-Picayune, two people started arguing and then shooting at each other on Bourbon near St. Louis and the famous Chris Owens club.
The second shooting happened near Canal and Burgundy just before 2 a.m.
Reportedly, two men and two women were shot in that incident. A 19-year-old man died.
Police arrested Baltiman Malcom, 24, moments after the shooting.
Reports showed another shooting left one person wounded around 4 a.m.
Then, police reported a double shooting on Louisa Street around 5:30 a.m., bringing the total number of shooting victims to 15.
It appears the incidents are not related.
