Forecasters watch disturbed area near Mexico

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Just days after Tropical Storm Lee dumped heavy rains in the Baton Rouge area, leaving many residents in Livingston Parish flooded, forecasters are watching another area for possible development.
There is an area of disturbed weather that shows the potential to develop into a tropical system in the Gulf of Mexico this week.
The National Hurricane Center gives it a 20 percent chance for development in the next 48 hours.
