Man arrested in connection with bar murder

HOUMA, LA (WAFB) - Terrebonne Parish Deputies arrested Jorell Young, 23, in connection with a murder at the Drama Club Bar in Houma.
Young was booked Friday on first degree murder and armed robbery. He is accused of killing 39-year-old bar manager Robert LeCompte on Christmas Eve.
The bar was having a party for employees and patrons when the robbery occurred. LeCompte was stabbed at least 10 times and about $4,000 was missing.
Police said Young denies the killing. Bond was set at $2 million.
