Governor John Bel Edwards proposes hopeful budget with no spending cuts

Edwards administration proposed a new state budget Friday with no spending cuts and $186 million in increased spending thanks to federal coronavirus aid. The increases include small pay raises for K-12 teachers and more money for higher education.
