Firearm found in ZHS student’s car on campus
BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - An alert was sent to parents and staff at Zachary High School on Friday, Oct. 11 after a weapon was found inside a student’s vehicle.
According to the message, the vehicle, parked on campus, was searched and a firearm was found inside.
Zachary Community Schools Message:
“The administration and law enforcement acted immediately and will follow district policy to address the incident. The safety of our students and employees is our number one priority each day. Please continue speaking with your children about the practice of ‘see something, say something’ to help keep our schools and community safe.”
